Acqua Eyes At Giorgio Armani. Spring 2013

Blue-eyed beauties are a major trend from the Spring 2013 shows, and the oceanic lids at Giorgio Armani blew us away. "Mr. Armani shows me the shapes and colors - I immediately envision the makeup look," said Linda Cantello, International Makeup Artist for Giorgio Armani Cosmetics. He often loves graphic shapes, but this time we rendered the look sexy, with a soft matte grey eye, and a touch of light turquoise blue liner. Fake lashes soften the graphic shape and adds sensuality."

Linda started off by moisturizing the skin with the new
Crema Nera Extrema and Crema Nera eye compact to keep the skin radiant. Then, she used Maestro Foundation for a luminous matte finish to the skin with Maestro Eraser under the eyes and to cover any redness around the nose. She set the skin with Luminos Silk Powder to keep the skin matte.

To create the stunning eye, Linda first applied the gray shadow from the Eyes to Kill Eyeshadow Quad #1 all over the lid and on the inner corner of the eye and blended it to the outer corner creating a geometric shape. Next, she mixed the blue shade from the Spring Collection 2013 Palette #1 with water. She used that to create a thick aqua line on the eye lid just above the lash line. Then she lined the eyes with Mastro Liquid Eye Liner in Black. She topped off the eyes with multiple coats of black Eyes to Kill Lash Stretching Mascara. To balance the colorful eye, she kept the lips natural looking with a touch of Rouge d'Armani Sheers from the Spring Collection 2013
